The Furhaus aims to improve our pet's lives through the environment they are in the most - their home.

At The Furhaus we provide products that are functional in our homes while also enriching our furry friends lives. 

BRAND VISION

Without pets our house really would not be home. Our vision is to be able to say “Thank you” to all our pets by providing them with products and services with them in mind. We connect trusted brands, passionate people, and radi-claw customers to improve our pet’s lives where they spend it the most – our homes.

MEET THE FOUNDER

As a kid I always had a passion for animals which ultimately lead me to becoming a vegetarian at a very young age. I always wanted to work with animals but blood and me did not get along - taking being a vet out of the question.

In my third year of studying Sociology at Ryerson University I got an amazing opportunity to learn how to Pet Groom. I dropped out of Sociology and began studying all things Pets - Going to grooming academy, and learning as much as I can in regards to our pets needs. Still wanting to learn more but avoiding the Vet route, I went on to continue my education in the Natural Sciences and Human Resources while volunteering my grooming services for shelters and rescues like the GSPCA. 

I have been working in the Pet Industry since 2015 and have no plan on stopping anytime soon. I started The Furhaus with the idea in mind that "Pets make our house a home" and every time I reflect on that saying it makes me grateful for my furry friends. It also makes me think of all of the fur babies out there that do not have a house to make a home yet - which is why a portion of our profits is donated to animal shelters and rescues.
